Louth Indoor Bowls Club 25 year Anniversary Celebrations will take place over the weekend of 19th & 20th September.

Saturday Afternoon – Bowls Drive with Guests from other Clubs in the County & club members who were here from the start and still bowl with us.

Saturday Evening – Celebration meal open to all of the day’s bowlers and a small

Number of other members. Limited availability.

If any Member has any photographs taken in the club since it’s opening in 1990 that they would be prepared to lend to us to use during the Anniversary weekend, it would be greatly appreciated.

News from the A.G.M.

Alan Watson was elected as Club Captain for the next 12 months with Rob Lamb elected Vice Captain.
Jean Holdsworth and Sylvia Stainton were re-elected as Ladies Captain and Vice-Captain respectively
whilst George Willoughby was re-elected as Captain of the Men’s Over 60’s team.

Rink fees are to increase by 10p to £2.70 per 2 hour session from September but there will be no
increase in County match fees or any increase in annual subscriptions for 2016.


The 2015/16 winter leagues will continue in the same format as last winter.

Bar, Cafeteria & Restaurant

Our licenced bar is open daily Monday to Friday from 11.00 am till 4pm and 6pm till 8.30 when the club closes; and 11.00 am till 6pm at weekends if there are friendly matches or County games being played.


The clubs “Rink 6” cafeteria is open each day until 4pm, serving drinks, snacks & light meals at reasonable prices.

Summer Opening 2015

The club will be open for bowling on the following days.

Tuesday – 9.45am till 4.00pm

Thursday – 9.45am till 1.45pm

Thursday – 6.30pm  till 8.30pm

Saturday – 9.45am till 1.45pm

Social bowling sessions will be at 11.45 on Tuesday & Thursday and 9.45 and 11.45 on Saturday, plus at intermittent times when rinks are available.

These times will apply from 27th April till 31st August.

Winter 2015-16

 The club will be open from 1st

September every day until 4.00pm until 7th September when it will revert to full time winter opening hours, which gives two weeks of social bowling/practice before the

winter league fixtures begin on Monday 14th September.
